Happy Dad Names Erick Holloway Chief Sales Officer as 2026 Growth Accelerates

Happy Dad is entering 2026 with strong momentum driven by retail expansion, new product wins, and accelerating scan growth. In the latest four-week Circana MULC data ending January 25, the brand delivered nearly 40 percent dollar growth and more than 37 percent volume growth, ranking among the fastest-growing beer vendors in the top 25.

That performance aligns with major chain mandates for Happy Dad’s 5% ABV Hard Lemonade in partnership with Realtree. The product secured nationwide placements at Walmart and a first-ever national rollout at Target, marking a key milestone in the brand’s retail expansion.

To support this next phase of expansion, Happy Dad has appointed Erick Holloway as Chief Sales Officer for North America, leading sales strategy across both the United States and Canada.

Holloway joins from BeatBox Beverages, where he served as Vice President of Sales for the West Division, managing a 25-state territory. During his tenure, the division delivered triple-digit revenue growth and became a major driver of company performance. He also helped establish BeatBox’s first national on-premise sales division, strengthening the brand’s presence in bars and nightlife venues.

Earlier in his career, Holloway held additional sales leadership roles within BeatBox and worked at Anheuser-Busch as a Senior Key Account Manager supporting the CVS Health business.

CEO and Co-Founder Sam Shahidi said Holloway’s approach to sales execution stood out immediately.

“Erick builds simple programs that distributors rally behind and convert into real revenue,” Shahidi said. “He understands the street-level grind and the execution style that makes Happy Dad different. Our entire team is fired up to have him on board.”

Shahidi added that Holloway’s leadership comes at a critical time as the company continues to scale distribution and retail presence nationwide.

“We are confident he is the right leader to help take Happy Dad to the next level and gain meaningful share in flavored malt beverages,” he said.

With expanded retail placements, strong scan performance, and new leadership in place, Happy Dad is positioned to continue gaining ground as 2026 unfolds.
